Tresor Paris were proud to be involved with what turned out to be a magical evening of entertainment and fine dining at the OJAM Foundation Gala at the Battersea Evolution last Thursday evening. The Venue had been transformed into a Miami Beach Club, and this was what greeted the guests on their arrival.

Cocktails of all sorts were served during the reception, and when entering the dining area the guests were treated to a superb dinner served and created to a 5 star treatment.

During dinner the guests were entertained by the eerie magical talents of street magician Dynamo, before proceedings moved on to the major reason for all of us being there, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The speech by Harpul S Kumar, the Chief Executive for Cancer Research UK, was both moving and of much interest, stating that the survival rate of cancer sufferers had doubled over the last 40 years. For Tresor Paris to be involved with such an individual was indeed humbling.

JLS launched The OJAM Foundation in partnership with Cancer Research UK, and even though the group are going their separate ways after their next tour they have committed themselves to continuing their work with the foundation.

After dinner X Factor’s Misha B and many more performed to the large audience that had gathered.

Every guest was presented with a Tresor Paris Bracelet, and the audience was a sea of sparkling glamour by the end of the evening. Particular favourites amongst JLS’s JB, and One Direction’s Niall Horan was the Black Agate micro pavé crystal bracelet from the Orion Collection, the rose gold version was preferred by famed stars such as boxer David Haye and boy band Lawson, all were worn throughout the evening.

The live auction produced so many laughs and numerous battles in the bidding, causing the atmosphere in the room to be electric, especially when one anonymous bid for £250,000 was placed, wonder who that was? It was through this auction that a large percentage of the £1,000,000 raised. Tresor Paris themselves were heavily involved in the bidding and ended up walking away with two of the auction lots.

The highlight of the evening’s entertainment was still to come, when the guests were entertained by the fine voice and music of Gary Barlow, whom was then joined by JLS themselves on stage, wow, so much talent, and so enjoyable, getting all the crowd on their feet. The guests were kept on their feet until 2am dancing to the music played by JLS’s own Aston and Marvin.

Tresor Paris wish JLS and Cancer Research UK all the best of luck to reach their target of £2,000,000, and they are half way there already. It was a real honour to be involved in this groundbreaking night of philanthropy.

Follow this link to check out OJAM’s website and find out how you can help raise monies towards their £2,000,000 target.

On the evening of Monday the 3rd of June Grammy Award Rapper/Actress Eve was at Dstrkt Club in London’s Piccadilly Circus.

The rapper is known for a hugely successful career in the early 2000s, famously winning a grammy for her collaboration with Gwen Stefani in 2001.

BBC’s The Voice has taken us all on a musical rollercoaster ride this year, when talented vocalists from across the country had a chance to audition in front of the UK biggest stars. Tresor Paris had the honour of meeting two of these blossoming voices and are delighted to report that Philippine dreamer Joseph Apostol, and Essex beauty Leanne Jarvis have both made it to the live rounds!

Joseph has made a huge impact on the show, and timid personality transforms as soon as the music begins to play. He has even brought Sir Tom Jones to tears with his stunning rendition of ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ where he knocked the duo Diva out of the battle rounds. Moving to the UK 11 years ago, 21 year old Joseph has used his voice to battle his shyness, he dreams of getting signed and making music and touring the world. We think his dreams are getting closer each day!

Leanne Jarvis has not been free of misfortune either, when she recently lost her job and her flat in the same week, forcing Leanne to move in with her mother. With all this happening Leanne was even more determined to make her audition song ‘Stay with me Baby’ really count in an incredibly heartfelt performance. Luckily for Leanne all four judges turned around for her powerful pipes, and after two more gruelling rounds she is now securely in the live quarter finals next week!

Tresor Paris HQ were delighted to meet the pair, and loaded them up with our crystal goodies and wished them all the best for the rest of the series! Leanne left with two spiral design bracelets from our much sought after Neptune collection, with earrings to match. Joseph left with a sleek combination of the black ISL watch with crystal face and the black agate St Maurice and Gironde bracelets from the Orion collection. Good luck for the live finals guys!

Tresor Paris were amongst many jostling for a quick chat with the band, who are high in demand while they prepare for a crazy summer of tour dates and plot for ‘universal domination’. JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley, Josh Cuthbert and George Shelley were at the Sony Headquarters in West London, gearing up for band described the song as uplifting and as something the fans could relate to, referring to the strong bond between friends through adversity.

All the lads were laden with Tresor Paris bracelets gifted by the team, and looked positively dazzling with the bracelets from the Orion collection. The band revealed that they have been very busy since they came fourth in the X factor last year, including writing two books! Union J are now preparing for several upcoming live dates, including The Summertime Ball alongside world-famous pop star Justin Timberlake! If they’re lucky JT might even provide the band with some valuable advice for starting a career in a boy band! Many of the band have never been to a festival, and are excited to be playing a few over the summer as a warm up before their big tour which starts in December 2013, following the release of their upcoming album. The album is going to be released in October, and the guys describe it as a blend of genres and flavours that appeal to a wide range of tastes.

The Tresor Paris team had the time of their lives at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. With the logo emblazoned on the seafront Carlton Hotel, and with the Tresor Paris name in lights at Torch, the city’s hottest beach club, the jewellery firm’s glittering presence was hard to ignore! So hold on to your sunhats, this is a low down of what the team got up to over the two weeks!

Tresor Paris were everywhere: Partying with the lovely DJ Mark Ronson before playing a set at the Torch Beach Club, close friend Paris Hilton was also in attendance and absolutely adored the white crystal frosted stainless steel bracelet that was gifted to her.

Riding the waves in a luxury yacht, Tresor Paris met Nancy Del’ollio and Stacey Jackson at the charity boating event in aid of Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.

The pair were utterly charming, and delighted to add a little bit of sparkle to proceedings with two bracelets from our ever popular Neptune collection!

Film star James Franco said he loved the sleek black agate and micro pavé crystal bracelet after a Q&A session about his upcoming films. As did Ray Panthaki, who was also in Cannes promoting his upcoming film ‘Convenience’.

Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson was in attendance for a family friend’s charity event. Richie Neilson’s foundation provided the perfect opportunity to gift the King of Pop’s father with a Tresor Paris bracelet! Finally, at the Torch Beach Club, pop star Cassie performed on stage wearing two of our Neptune collection bracelets, where earlier Tresor Paris fans Made In Chelsea stars Spencer and Lucy had lunched.

The Tresor Paris team were delighted when they were led to believe they had met Korean internet dance sensation Psy, who infamously started the ‘Gangnam Style’ craze that swept the globe this year.

Psy, whose debut single has been parodied infinitely on YouTube by fans making their own versions of the dance craze, appeared in several celebrity snaps and twitter feeds from the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Actor Adrian Brody, new Bond girl Naomi Harris, DJ Sanchez, and even Tresor Paris all posted images of the be-spectacled star on their social networking sites- Unaware that he was a look-alike!

But this imposter’s mischievous plot was soon revealed when Psy himself tweeted from Singapore, “’Seems like there’s another ME at Cannes…say Hi to him.’ This new immediately began to trickle down the Twittersphere to the press, which is how Tresor Paris got wind of this cheeky prankster’s antics!  Despite having gifted him an considerably valuable bracelet from the Orion collection, Tresor Paris know when to admit defeat and pay homage to a master of deception!

We admit it… we were completely fooled! As the Tresor Paris team nurse their bruised pride, they take solace in the fact that they were not the only people to fall for this elaborate ruse!
